I’ve been a very happy consumer lately. Metroid Prime, Contra: Shattered Soldier, and Splinter Cell have kept my lazy time to a minimum. Verve Remixed is on heavy rotation at Chez Elle, and having my fomer state senator, Fred Thompson, step in as the new district attorney for this season of Law and Order makes for a very happy girl.
So R.S.2 asked for my number last night. I wanted to see if he’d get up the gumption to ask my cousin (Baelson) for it, but some things you’ve just got to do yourself if you want them done right. We had an excellent conversation in which I was jokingly propositioned via the good old SQL INSERT statement and I failed in my myriad attempts to hear him sing. But we’ve established that dinner may well be in order for my February visit, so I am tremendously happy with that. Plus, it looks like he has excellent contacts at Volt, so I may get a leg up on the competition to work for MSFT.
Ray, my next-door neighbor here at work, just brought an enormous bowl of spiced tea to work. What he failed to mention, though, was the eye-popping amount of sugar added to the mix. I can already feel myself starting to bounce off the walls. Even my playlist has switched from the lush Blenders‘ album, Nog, to the sizzle of Telepopmusik‘s Breathe.
evoque will be happily beta-testing Josh‘s spiffy new Web service, Tangent. I pointed Adam that way as well, hence the odd pop-up boxes appearing for each link.
