The Movable Type plugin for Tangent seems to want to be particularly unpleasant with me. If you get errors, that’s me trying vainly to unbork my installation.
So, big sort-of-date tonight. I say that simply because (a) I don’t know whether this would qualify as a date and (b) it would be tremendously awkward to pry his opinion out of him. We’re to have dinner at Big River Grille & Brewing Works and then go down to the Ryman for the Nashville Symphony and Chorus performance of Handel’s Messiah. If I have managed to get myself into a blind date with an axe murderer, my Dead Man’s Switch is set to activate in three days’ time and all you wonderful, important people can start contesting my will, although I would much appreciate it if you’d notify the proper authorities first.
In the most lovely news of all, Terence pinged me back after our protracted lack of communication. Now, we’re not going to do any pointing of fingers, but it is nice to be getting back with the old circle. Besides, he’s the only straight man I know who has the same raving passion for IKEA that I do.
